Provides outpatient addictions treatment to the residents of Wicomico County. The mission of the Addictions Program is to maximize the health of all Wicomico County citizens by providing access to opportunities that promote physical, behavioral and environmental health through prevention, education, assessment, diagnosis, clinical monitoring, and regulatory programs.
The Wicomico County Behavioral Health Program provides outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents and their families.
Community Health Services
Works to improve the general health of the public, reduce health disparities, and ensure access to care through the provision of direct clinical services, education, prevention health services, case management, and communicable disease investigation and surveillance.
Seeks to serve and educate the residents of Wicomico County in the essential functions of environmental public health, including drinking water, sewage disposal, food safety, recreational water safety, clean indoor air, and rabies.
Maternal and Child Health
Strives to protect, promote and improve the health and well-being of women, newborns, children and adolescents through prevention, education, case management services, access to care and perinatal health care systems improvement.
Prevention and Health Communications
Seeks to give individuals the knowledge and skills needed to make informed choices regarding their health and safety through: education, training, health assessments and outreach.
